In the Veloressian Empire of the twenty-three stars, prophecies are sacred and absolute. Will truth stand a chance against the all-powerful Empire?

The Eternity Prophecy eBook S G Basu

I wanted to give this 3.5 stars and eventually decided 3 was more appropriate than 4. It's a good story and there's an okay amount of suspense. The character development was pretty good.

My biggest issue is that I feel that the story so far is fine, but it didn't feel like a complete story, and certainly not a complete series. It feels like part one of the book is done and I want to keep reading the second part of the book.

It doesn't look like it's part of a series, so the story may always feel incomplete.

The Eternity Prophecy eBook S G Basu Reviews

Another great Sci Fi story. If you took all the old history chronicles and tried to make sense of them, I wonder if they could foretell the future? The story, plot line and the character in this read all were great. It flowed and I didn't want to set the book down.
The Eternity Prophecy by S.G. Basu is a book I was lucky enough to win with the Scout program. I really enjoyed this book. Lots of intrigue, suspense, and me not wanting to turn the page...but I just had to know! Ugh, I hope there is a book 2 coming. Great world building, characters, and plot. Complex and satisfying!
A fast paced, well written story. I admire the author's imagination. The place, which I'm not sure which planet or galaxy it is, feels just like earth. Full of deception and danger, but not lack of love and sympathy. They have cafes just like we do. Would like to see more differences.
This was definitely a page turner. I found it very hard to put down and ended up staying up way too late reading it. Every time I came to the end of a chapter I had to keep reading to see what was going to happen next. The characters were fleshed out wonderfully....you start out hating someone and then near the end you are cheering for them. Can't wait to read the next installment.
After a slow psuedoprologue, the story takes off, and the conspiracies take hold.

It was a quick read that, after the initial ramp into the story, held my interest. I finished it in two quick sittings.

This is a short novella without much character development or world building, but the plot overcomes these shortcomings. I also found the Steffen Pere character intriguing.

I do wish the story would have continued just a little further, so we could have seen the reaction of Noell to the news and possibly her trip back. Can't be more specific or say more without spoilers.

I was provided a copy of this book by the Scout program.
This was an enjoyable short read. It's a bit more mystery/suspense than it is a world of various types of aliens and their conflicts. Unlike many sci-fi books, there is not a lot of detail about the world. The author has saved that for the appendices. The story could have been even stronger if at least a little more of this had been incorporated into the story. I especially would have liked to have read more about the Adi Niappan (other than in the appendix) since the story was centered around finding the new one.

The ending is either leaving readers with a sense that there will be a continuation of the story, or it lets you decide how you want Eos's story to end.
This is book that gets 3.5 stars. Eternity Prophecy was a book I had nominated on Scout, and I'm so glad I did. The first couple of chapters intrigued me and I wanted it to get published so I could read the entire story. You can read this as a standalone book, but it does have a soft cliffhanger ending for possible future books in the series. I hope the author is already writing book two to pick up where this book ends. There is violence.

The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat all of that info here. The author did a great job of combining religion, politics, and power. You could feel the characters emotions as they realized the truth, and fought for that truth to be revealed. The storyline will keep you guessing what twists and turns will be revealed next. It kept me riveted and I could not put the book down!
